Celebrity endorsement is a big money making game and a great way to stay in the limelight.

Building Branding With Celebrity

branding_celebrities.jpgCelebrities, from the clothes they wear to the way they make up and accessorize their outfits, always impress people. Famous personalities are a major influence for our lifestyles so we always read the news related to what they wear. Mostly, celebrities promote clothing brands or footwear or perfume lines. Celebrity’s brands usually have high sales because people enjoy adapting famous people’s style.

To cut it short, I would say celebrity branding is all about transferring the value from a person to the product he or she endorses. Celebrities can be used in several ways to endorse a luxury fashion brand or show an association with the brand. The classic and most widely utilized method is the paid-for media advertisement mostly found in fashion magazines and television.

Celebrity Endorsements : Worth The Money?

A big, established, dominate brand has the money and weight to make a celebrity endorsement work. It’s usually a brand that consumers are familiar with and the exorbitant costs can be worthwhile in defending the brand’s position in the mind and keeping the category relevant and interesting.

Celebrity endorsements are usually not a wise choice for new brands with limited budgets. Better to use PR and a company leader as a spokesperson to build the brand first.

Stuffing her face with fast-food burgers, I don’t think so. The only thing this heiress indulgences in is champagne, clothes and cosmetics.
